Current Opportunities
Administrative & Operations Coordinator
25–35 hours/week | Onsite
$22-28/hour, negotiable depending on experience
Springford Farm Market is growing — fast. The energy around the farm is electric right now. Between the rapid growth of the market, new initiatives on the horizon, and the launch of our brand-new Viewing Barn this spring, we’re stepping into an exciting next chapter. And to support that momentum, we’re looking to bring on a dynamic, detail-loving human who can help keep our operations organized, our communications sharp, and our team supported as we expand.
If you’re the kind of person who thrives in a busy, creative, roll-up-your-sleeves farm environment, loves problem-solving on the fly, and gets a weird amount of satisfaction from tidy systems and smooth processes… we want to meet you.
🌾 What This Role Looks Like
This is not your average administrative job. It’s equal parts organization, creativity, communications, and “sure, I can figure that out.” You’ll support the backbone of our operations while helping shape what Springford becomes next.
You’ll be doing things like:
Managing admin tasks: AP/AR support, vendor coordination, inboxes, scheduling, filing, and general office flow.
Light bookkeeping support in QuickBooks Online (matching transactions, helping with expense organization, pulling simple reports, processing invoices, etc.).
Helping build better systems: templates, SOPs, organizational tools, process improvements.
Supporting marketing: writing newsletters, helping with social posts, creating simple graphics, capturing content in the market, copywriting, etc.
Keeping our website refreshed and accurate.
Supporting internal communications and team coordination.
Jumping in wherever the day takes you—this role is varied and will evolve as we grow.
🌟 Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who brings skill + curiosity + a genuinely positive attitude.
You’ll thrive here if you are:
A natural problem solver who loves finding better ways to do things.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple deadlines without melting.
Comfortable with basic bookkeeping tasks.
Tech-comfortable and confident navigating online tools.
Someone who gets the vibe of farm-based business—nimble, collaborative, community-focused, and sometimes a little chaotic.
A clear, friendly, thoughtful communicator.
A self-starter who can work independently and doesn’t need hand-holding every step.
Creative! You enjoy writing, social media, and content creation.
Comfortable learning new systems quickly (QBO, Google Suite, Outlook, SquareSpace, Notion, Canva, Zapier, etc.).
Flexible—some days you’ll be deep in invoices, other days you’ll be helping with an event, filming a quick reel, or reorganizing a process that’s been bugging you.
Kind, honest, grounded, and easy to work with.
Bonus points if:
You have grocery or retail experience.
You love local food and feel inspired by agriculture and community food systems.
You’ve led or supervised others before.
You bring experience in office management, marketing, admin, or operations.
But above all: we want the right person, not the perfect résumé.
🌱 Hours, Flexibility & Work Style
25–35 hours per week, depending on your availability and how the role grows into you.
This is an onsite role. You’ll spend time in the market, the office, and on the farm—being immersed in our daily workflow is essential for success.
We’re willing to wait for the right person. If you’re excited by this role but unsure if you tick every box, please apply.
💚 Why Join the Springford Farm Team?
You’ll be part of a growing, community-rooted, family-run farm business that values integrity, local agriculture, creativity, and doing things well. It’s a place where new ideas are welcomed, your work genuinely matters, and you can help build something meaningful from the inside.
You won’t be bored. You won’t be micromanaged. You will be appreciated.
